- I am a jewelry artist that thrives on learning new things. In fact, I think part of what I like so much about making jewelry is that I never run out of new techniques to learn. Although much of my focus is on silversmithing, I realize that I do seem to have an eye for the beaded designs. Some people just don't have that. I never feel proficient enough at anything! I always say, hey that's not perfect yet, but I think that's what keeps me moving forward. I just keep trying and have alot of fun getting there. It's just at that point where things are the hardest that you have to push through, and wham, something clicks, and you wonder why it seemed so hard to begin with. Those are the glorious moments! I feel sorry for people who have never pushed through that barrier, and who give up before that glorious feeling arrives. Stride on, people, push through it!
