Buy something nice and help the Ronald McDonald House!
One of my recent items has just been added to the Ronald McDonald House auctions page. This is a great cause and I hope you will support it if possible. This necklace is 36 inches in length and is made of a mix of gemstones and glass beads. It has a machine made sterling clasp. I had never worn long necklaces much until I started making my own, and now I really enjoy wearing them. I have found them great for dressy occasions and fun occasions on the weekends as well. Some of these beads weren't labeled when I got them, but I can recognize the zebra jasper (the brown ones with the designs in them. The focal beads are made of canyon marble. Quite an interesting mix. I hope you like it.
I am a jewelry artist that thrives on learning new things. In fact, I think part of what I like so much about making jewelry is that I never run out of new techniques to learn. Although much of my focus is on silversmithing, I realize that I do seem to have an eye for the beaded designs. Some people just don't have that. I never feel proficient enough at anything! I always say, hey that's not perfect yet, but I think that's what keeps me moving forward. I just keep trying and have alot of fun getting there. It's just at that point where things are the hardest that you have to push through, and wham, something clicks, and you wonder why it seemed so hard to begin with. Those are the glorious moments! I feel sorry for people who have never pushed through that barrier, and who give up before that glorious feeling arrives. Stride on, people, push through it! And it's even better when we can push through it with each other's support. Cheers Everyone!
